Episode 48: Superman vs Superman

No proper writ-up this week as I was really lazy and forgot to time-code everything and make notes while we recorded.

We went through the usual topics of What We've Been Watching and Terrible Movie Challenge (Disaster Movie is F*@king awful and the worst movie I've ever seen) .

Then Travis and I set Superman Returns against Man of Steel. We argue our cases as to which is the better movie. We also have some thought about what DC/Warner should do if BvS: DoJ fails.

Going Ballistic

In this week's thrilling episode...
Travis is challenged to watch Gogglebox.
George has a few suggestions for new directors and actors to take over Indiana Jones

George and Travis delivery their review for Ballistic: Ecks vs Sever. The review itself may be better than the movie.

Finally, George and Travis offer up the chance for you, deal listeners, to choose which of the "1001 Movies You Must See Before You Die" they will watch for next weeks episode.

The Two-Hour Extravaganza!

In this weeks episode we get carried away discussing animation for the adult audience (sorry, not the porn variety). We also gush over the awesomeness of Kill Bill Vol: 1 and set ourselves the wonderfully terrible task of watching Ecks Vs Sever.

Then after the break (yeah, we've included a break in the show!), we have our first ever special guest, Trudi Rawnsley. Travis asks us about the first games that grabbed us by the balls and wouldn't let us go.

Finally, George poses the question of what does the future hold for computer games, the eco-systems they foster and where in the world does Nintendo fit in?

As always, if you have any questions, comments or suggestions about the show, we would love to hear from you!

The Complete Package

The Complete Package

Two in a row!

Topics of discussion:
What have we been watching; Travis and George debate the best TV shows out right now -- Black Mirror vs Penny Dreadful; George has a little rant about Idiots Guide books.
We then discuss the final instalment of The Hobbit movies and Travis brings up a good point... where were the Elvish archers during the battle of the five armies.
We go off topic for a moment and talk about Star Wars.
Then we talk a little about Disney's Big Hero Six.
Pixar and Disney get a diagnosis from The Pom and The Aussie as well.
We then get derailed with some War Propaganda.

Finishing up this episode, we dissect the rumour of Batman Vs Superman's split and question the value of the "Premium" experience.
